Sports are probably the best way to workout and have fun. There is nothing better to distract you when you are trying to get some cardio in than chasing a ball. Scoring that goal or assisting on making that shot enforces the feeling that you can accomplish any task. They teach us how to socialize with others and help overcome shyness in social situations. The best part, sports are for everyone! There are literally hundreds to choose from. Not only is there a variety but they aren't just for kids. Many cities and towns across America have teams for adults. Softball, baseball, basketball, soccer. You want to get out and make some new drinking buddies? Join a team or league in the sport of your choice. You have just killed two birds with one stone; you are getting healthy and meeting new people who have similar interests as you. Nice!
